For the Fall 2013 election, incumbent Bob Andrews is seeking the District 9 seat of the Onondaga County Legislature. Bob Andrews was appointed by Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney on Feb. 21, 2013. He replaced outgoing legislator Mark Stanczyk, D-Syracuse, who was appointed to a county job by County Executive Joanie Mahoney.

Issues — As director of business development for Madison-Cortland ARC, Andrews supports the mission of serving adults with severe disabilities with jobs and work opportunities.
Community Involvement— Serves as chairman of the Syracuse Republican Committee. Andrews has worked with several non-profit and community groups, including United Way, Syracuse First, Eastwood Neighborhood Association, MACNY and Advocates of Upstate Medical University Hospital.
Past Political Offices: Andrews ran for the District 9 seat in 2011, and has volunteered for the campaigns of Joanie Mahoney, Jim Walsh and Steve Kimatian.
