*In 2012, redistricting changed the 49th state Senate District to the 53rd state Senate District. The district lost DeWitt, but gained Cicero and Salina. The newly drawn 53rd Senate District includes the city of Syracuse and the southeastern corner of Onondaga County, all of Madison County and two towns in Oneida County.
