*The County Legislature District 3 seat is open for the fall 2013 election after longtime incumbent Bill Meyer, R-Cicero, accepted an appointed county government position.  Corl Jr. to run for county legislator.  On Feb. 21, 2013, County Executive Joanie Mahoney appointed Chet Dudzinski, another Cicero Republican, to fill Meyer’s unexpired term. In May 2013, the Onondaga County Republican Committee nominated Jim Corl Jr. to run for the District 3 seat.
