EXETER, N.H. (Jan. 8, 2012) — New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, another major Mitt Romney ally, was in Exeter, New Hampshire, to stump for the former governor of Massachusetts.  Christie spoke in front an overflow crowd of supporters, and some who were not.

WATD’s Matt Porter has more details.

Woman from Occupy New Hampshire: “Christie Kills Jobs! Christie Kills Jobs!”  Chris Christie: “Really?”

At the rally for Romney, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie confronted a woman shouting an accusation about jobs.

“If she wasn’t so blinded by her Barack Obama-induced anger, she’d know that American jobs are coming back when Mitt Romney is the next president!”(N.J. Gov. Chris Christie , Republican)

After speeches by Romney and Christie, many undecided voters said their votes were still up for grabs.  Lisa Tarsook voted for Romney last time but was not so sure now because of Romney’s less-than-conservativebackground.

“I just wish he was a little more conservative, so I’m leaning towards Rick Santorum.  Reporter: Where does Mitt Romney rank in your top 3?  Tarsook: He’s two, he’s two, but really close.  It’s neck and neck between him and Rick.”(Lisa Tarsook, Republican, Derry, N.H.)

Others plan to vote for Romney partly because the rest of the field is too conservative.

“A lot of the Republican candidates are so far to the right, they make the John Birch Society look liberal.” (Fabian Dardaneau, undecided voter, Hampton, N.H.)
