Occupation — superintendent, Hughes State Office Building (2007-present); worked at General Motors plants in Salina and Massena, member of United Auto Workers local #465 and chair of local #854’s education and civil rights committee
Education — associate degrees, Onondaga Community College; certificates in labor studies, Cornell University; B.S. in business, management and economics from SUNY Empire State College
Community Involvement — has practice martial arts competitively, holding a sixth-degree black belt in American Shotokan Karate, was ranked No.1 in New York and New Jersey and in the top 10 for the United States and Canada before retiring from competition.
