Former Governor Mike Huckabee’s campaign office in New Hampshire is getting prepared for Huckabee’s arrival here tomorrow. Richard Zussman tells us Huckabee volunteers in New Hampshire are excited for the primary to get under way.

NAT SOUND.

One by one, Adam Bungert goes through a list of potential Mike Huckabee-for-President supporters.

Bungert is a University of New Hampshire student and one of about a dozen regular volunteers making phone calls from Huckabee’s campaign office in Concord, New Hampshire.

With the Iowa causes concluding tonight the political focus shifts here.

This means it’s crunch time for the presidential candidates- such as former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. It’s also crunch time for the volunteers. Such as Bungert:

There’s lots of volunteers coming in now and managing that.  Just doing whatever need to get done.

Bungert says his hard work is close to paying off.

I’m excited.  But it’s nerve raking with the caucus today.  I guess we’ll see.

Huckabee starts his five days of campaigning in New Hampshire tomorrow.  But for Bungert there are still lots of phone calls to be done before he gets here.

NAT SOUND under my sign out

For FM 89 News, I’m Richard Zussman in Concord, New Hampshire.
