Biography
Occupation – maintenance supervisor, Syracuse University; part-time peace officer for the town of Pompey; former road patrol deputy, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office; served in the Air Force, the Air National Guard and the naval reserves. Was chair of the SU staff complaint board, and chair of Pompey’s Environmental Conservation Commission.
Education: B.A. in liberal studies from Syracuse University in 2009; also graduated from the Central New York Police Academy and the Oswego Police/Peace Officer Academy. Pursuing a master’s degree at SU part-time. Trains in boxing, kickboxing and other martial arts; was selected for the 1980 Olympic Trials.
Family: son Joshua. Has lived in Pompey since 1990.
