Biography
Ron Paul is running for the Republican Party nomination for president. He took second place in the New Hampshire primary behind former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney with 23 percent of the vote, third in the Iowa causcuses and fourth in the South Carolina primary.

Past Offices
Paul has served three times as a representative from the 14th congressional district of Texas. He served from 1976-77 after winning a special election, from 1979-85 and from 1997-present. He will not run for re-election in 2012.
