*For the 2013, David Knapp is running for re-election as County Legislator- District 12 after winng in the fall of 2011. For the 2011 election, Knapp won the GOP designation against incumbent Robert Cox (R-Pompey), who was appointed by County Executive Joanie Mahoney in March 2011. Cox challenged Knapp to a primary for the party’s nomination. Knapp won the primary to secure the party’s nomination with 962 votes compared to Cox’s 403 votes, as of Sept. 13, 2011.
